June 25th, 2011 ABQ SMS Cars, Coffee, Chile, and Speed (Track Day)!

Albuquerque SMS Cars, Coffee, Chile, and Speed (Track Day) on the 25th of June 2011.

The entry fee is $50 per track day, unless you become a Driver's Club member. More information on this will be posted at http://www.sandiamotorsports.com/ or http://www.sandia-speedway.com/

The time will be between 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM (alot of the time, it's even longer).

We'll meet up at Hotel Albuquerque in Old Town at 7:30 AM and caravan out to the track.

By the way, if the parking lot is full at Hotel Albuquerque, we'll meet just across the street (on Bellamah Ave).

If no one is there, just head out to the track. Most people show up late as they wish to sleep in (whimps).

NOTICE: There is a $10 fee for anyone coming out to observe and hang out! It is $50 for drivers.

Blakes Lotaburger now runs the concessions, so drinks are no longer free (bummer), buritos are about $5.

Helmets are required!

I'm in for sure! Sounds like another great day, between this and watching an actual drift competition day. Thanks for the post Curt. My car already has a full tank of gas from the other day.

Good times today! We had 4 camaros out, and minimal traffic, so we all got lots of track time!

Our newbie got a lesson from Jim, even though cars and coffe was over, that was super nice of him!!!

Then we got to watch some really cool drifting. It was great hanging out with everybody, giving some ride alongs and blowing through over 3/4 tank of gas, not to mention, I've already got to remount/switch my rear tires AGAIN!

Didn't take pictures, but I may get a link to some video, and if so I'll post it up!
