You can buy 5 Z28 for 1 of those....so have a different daily driver instead of 1 is what i say.

I'm gonna guess its the same reason people who drive Accords and minivans crap on those who have Camaros, Mustangs, and Challengers... Jealousy.

Both of those cars look sweet as hell, and I'd love nothing more than to have the MP4-12C sitting in my garage. But I don't have a couple hundred grand sitting around to make it happen.

That being said, if that kind of expense is needed to out-cool the Camaro, I'll be ok with what I already got.

I have had this same conversation with friends. For me to spend $100K on a car is really going to take some very interesting circumstances, at least thats how I feel. Now, a C7 ZO6 with the ZO7 package is over $100K, but one hell of a car. Still don't know if I could ever do that, no matter how much money I had. Keep in mind the car of discussion is over 2X the Z06 ZO7 money!

Yup, it's all about the income. To some $100k is no big deal, to others it's a lot. Heck, to some people blowing $100k on a car is actually significantly less than most of us buying a Camaro due to their income to cost ratio.

Back to topic...that 12C is gorgeous!
