This was one of the most exciting things I've ever done... The group of people we met will be friends forever.. The 2 days were perfect.. Can't wait see some of you again in October or next year... Thank you for all those who put in the work..

Thanks very much for coming. We enjoyed having so many drivers willing to make the trip. See you again next time.

Drove the Cherohala and Dragon today. Started on the Cherohala in Tellico then finished after driving the Dragon from south to north. Hit the Hot Rod Diner for a late lunch then onto I40 for the ride home. 250 miles total. I am starting to like the C over the D after being on them both. The C allows for higher speeds instead of the super tight twisting turns of the D. Plenty of cars and bikes on both. The ones to watch out for are the bikers on the big cruisers. Most of these riders try to exceed their abilities and they often cross the center line.
Both roads are in great shape. Gas up at Tellico or just north of the northern end of the Dragon. Premium was $3.25 at Deals Gap.

Never been to either...wanting to do both so much, and we get hit with a stupid pandemic... On Cherohala skyway, are big trucks less of a worry than ToD??

Crossroaddemons…..What's the weekend dates for October???

I have never seen big trucks on either. There are signs on the Dragon saying not to proceed in any truck/RV longer than 30 feet.

Only way I'm going to miss out this time is if I scatter my motor at Road Atlanta in a couple of weeks!
