TR6 Misfires

2019 Camaro SS
D1X blower (6-8 psi currently), longtubes, e85, tune (obviously)

Just changed my spark plugs from stock spark plugs (ac delco) to NGK tr6’s gapped at roughly .025-.028
Went for a drive and it had very rough idle, did a pull and it started breaking up at the top of the gear. Not to mention it feels soooo sluggish now.
and no, i have not used the 2 step on the new plugs yet.

What’s going on?
I did my absolute best to make sure my wires went back into place correctly and deep enough. i do have new wires on the way, they’ll be here tomorrow and i will be putting them in. (taylor wires with thermal socks)
So if that’s the problem, it will be fixed tomorrow. but if it’s not, then what?

Do you have the car tuned for 85? Correct injectors, sounds tune related not plugs.

Did this happen immediately after spark plug change? If so, reinstall originals. Maybe one of the new plugs is defective. I know, this would be the FIRST time a new part was bad. LOL!

Sounds like you've got a bad plug or wire to me. How'd it run on the old plugs?

How long have you had the E in your tank? Maybe it’s an old tank of E85, or the E you put in your car might just be bad E. Since winters coming over here in Cali, ima go back to 91 for the rest of it. The E quality is usually not that good in the winter. I have a flex fuel kit and tune

the e85 is fine in my opinion. car was running fine on the same tank before i changed the spark plugs. tuner just said he just had a camaro go through to same problem. rough idle, misfiring, etc. what would even cause this? how can i fix it?

It can be spark plugs, spark plug wires, or the actual tune itself.

I was wondering if it was the E85, because I have left the same tank for over a month, and only drove the car 2 times a week during that month. One day I was driving and I heard a loud pop coming from my car with blue smoke (maybe the left over E on exhaust tips) which happened to be a misfire. So I just drove until the tank of E was close to empty put 91 and some Lucas fuel injector cleaner in my tank, and ran fine afterwards

Did your old plugs do this?

If not swap them back in. If it goes back to normal buy some factory plugs & call it good.

This sounds suspect. Your Tuner had another Camaro with the same issues. Provided no fix to either you or this “other” Camaro. Seems like a Tuner issue
