So I’m torn. Yes I know it’s my decision but I’m just curious as to what others think or would do.

I can either get a 2ss camaro with every option I want like red leather seats, sun roof, navigation etc.

Or I can get a base c8. No options.

What would you do?

If I'm looking in the base C8 price range, I would go with a C7 or a used ZL1 instead.

Definitely the 2SS Camaro. More bang for your buck! Good luck even finding a C8 at the minimum price this year! Next year they go up $20,000. Where is the bargain. Better insurance rates on a 2 SS also.

I have a 2ss fully loaded and should have 100% bought a C7 that had 4k miles on it. For the same price that was on the lot. The C8 is cool but if you follow Hennessey Performance or any of the other people that have C8s right now, they are not running anything close to what GM advertises. They are running 0-60 times the same as my camaro does.

I’m aware your two options are for new vehicles (and all the exhilaration this brings), but for my money a new C7, or a previously enjoyed ZL1 would fit the bill. Great deals on both are available - if you’re ready to move. On this subject I highly recommend you check out The Savagegeese YouTube video on C7 or C8.

Within the context of your question though, the market will soon be flooded with C8’s, and Gen 6 Camaro’s tend to be few and far between. Strictly in your frame of mind I’m in a loaded 2SS.
