BTW...never use lubricants or anti seize on a lug stud...it is never recommended as torque values will be way off

Took a picture of the Dorman's vs the Apex lugs. The Dormans have less of a taper it seems, regardless, I feel much better now that I have better lugs on.

Yeah, I just replaced mine with MSI. You can also see the taper on the Dorman lugs is now marred as well. They also rust. Garbage!

Yep, I was pretty disappointed in myself for choosing these. Glad they are off my car now. Straight to the garbage.

My MRR wheels require that smaller diameter, and there's no reason to think that stock wheels wouldn't be safe with the same lug nuts. OTOH, if you are only running stock wheels, you don't need the smaller diameter lug nuts for clearance in the lug nut wells, so you might as well run the larger-diameter (21mm wrench size) lug nuts.
Thanks for that info, I’ll use them on the Apex ARC 8 wheels

I have the Katech lug nuts, I have no data but when I run them, I have no brake fade, maybe the open end facilitates heat dissipation? Again no data, not sure if the material helps also "titanium" ...
