Bring a Trailer is officially friggin’ nutz
Has anybody else been watching auctions on Bring a Trailer lately? The winning bids are absolutely insane. Here’s a few examples:
There are more. I recall a Toyota MR2 going for $62,000. I bought mine for $9,000. Nowhere near the pristine condition of the one that sold for $62k, but dayum.

It don’t come easy.

One would think the price on these gems actually would drop, considering the cost of living index and gas prices. But, when someone just has to have something, they will pay.

Yeah BAT has gone batty prices are insane like most auctions to get a nice older ride you need deep pockets and a thick wallet. Seems like the rust buckets on the local corner bring insane prices anymore as well. I think the wealthy are snagging up all the ICE classics while there available. I've all but given up looking for some decent classics that where on my list. Gotten to rich for my blood over the last year or two.

At those prices it should be able to drive home
When ever I see a BAT ad I think of some rusted out POS that needs to be dragged out of a field. They should have two....Bring a Hauler for pricey completed stuff like this and BAT for the non running fixer uppers

Crazy indeed!
I guess I am one of the "lucky ones" I like new cars with new tech. So no desire to pay $$$ for those old dinosaurs. Well less the GT350s, but no desire for one of those either. For the money of most of those cars I could have me some really nice new Tech.

My watch list for today. Some of these I’m watching just to see how high they actually go.

Yes sir. WS6 was my favorite "regular man's" sports car back in the day. I absolutely love that hood and front end.

The styling was and still is incredible. I hope I can find a reasonable example one day.

I do not think the 4th gens "aged" well.
To me bubbly cars do not age as well as cars with a lot of angles. And for the record I am still pissed I did not get my WS6 - I had a Vette at the time and it did not make sense.
