Guess no one is driving their Camaro in the Midwest

My Camaro along with many are probably setting in their garages since the midwest is getting a brutal snow storm with wind gust over 40 mph. I'm just remembering back to December and thinking man its been a nice winter so far and that all changed in January and gotten worse in February. I was able to drive it last week a couple days and got it cleaned up before I put it back in the garage. I guess I'll start installing my Pray ported intake and Katech ported TB. Need to get my DSX sensor ordered and get installed and start tuning it. Plan on a couple days on the Hot Rod power tour this June so want to have it all dialed in. Probably just do Memphis and Nashville, Tn. Alright hang in there if your getting your ass kicked by this storm. Sure glad I have a snow blower cause I'm too F old to shovel a 200 long concrete drive

We're about to get 7-12 inches tonight. I dont think the NT05's are going to do too well on the camaro

My alternate is my '20 silverado rst which does just fine.

I ordered a quickjack lift so I can do some work underneath the camaro during the cold times. Not sure if it is going to give me room to swap my torque conv or not, but should help with lifting up my impossible-to-lift-properly-with-floor-jacks-camaro.

Get a tune on that RST, should be fun in those conditions.

My 2017 Camaro SS is my winter car. I live in the north Kentucky/Cincinnati area. We are about to get hit with a mix of ice and snow.

Drove my LT1 in 3-4 inches of snow this morning. We only seem to get snow 2-3 times a year anymore so I have no plans on letting it sit in the winter.

We're getting a blast of nasty weather in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. When we got hit with the nasty weather last year, my daily driver was a 4x4. I didn't have any problem venturing out in the mess until I started seeing all the nuts behind the wheels drifting into intersections because they tried to stop with the same distance they do under dry conditions or I'd see other miscalculations by derpy drivers (trying to turn into a shopping center only for their front tires to not bite and them slip sliding forward). After seeing a few spinouts within about 20 feet of me, I took care of what I needed to and got the hell back home. I can't imagine how much more precarious the situation would be if I were driving in a Camaro.

Oh and for the record, Dallas/Fort Worth driving isn't bad because Dallas/Fort Worth drivers suck as much as because we have a crazy mix of drivers from just about everywhere. We have the slow Okies from Oklahoma, the quick-to-cut-in-front-of you NYers, and the crazy WOT Cali folks mixed together. All those driving styles combined make it an absolute mess to drive in this area.

Stay safe out there folks, and pack for any potential breakdowns, given the room in the Camaro, that probably means a washcloth for a blanket.

We have some slow Alabama and Georgia chuggers, the same Nu Yokers you mentioned and also a bunch of crazy Florida hustlers, but it's mostly local drivers and overall pretty chill here in East Tennessee (even more so since I'm comparing it to North Jersey we left behind, heh). Luckily the forecast here for the next few days is "just" torrential rain and 40-55 degrees, no snow or ice.

Re packing, the backseat is actually pretty roomy for a luggage shelf

Ditto, its not the snow, but the salt that stops mine from being driven. Time to break out the 55HP snow shovel.

I talked to my brother today and he lives close to Dallas and he said he's bracing for some bad weather.

Holy shit that looks like where I live. The drifting makes it hard to tell how much we have but I have 3 ft drifts in a bunch of places on my 5 acres.
