Mine does that also. I put a styrofoam pipe wrap on it to see if that helps at all, because I can see the screen itself wearing at the leather.

I was thinking styrofoam pipe too as a better solution. Spray paint it black?

Here is my back seat

Do you guys have the 10" woofer in the back seat? I do. I wonder if that has something to do with it?

Maybe try a peice of the softsided Velcro on the surface that makes contact with the seat?

Mine does the same thing, but it's no big deal to me though.

It MAY have something to do with it, as posts from the other thread seem to point to only the 14s.. It starts at post #33

I have a 13 and have the same issue. Also have a sub. Post 33 put a tower but later said the towel only made it worse. I think the best option is styrofoam tube like others have done which I doubt will get rid of the mark but at least reduce it.

I just took a picture with it off, and I have been using the styrofoam pipe tube. It is still rubbing, but I'm not sure if it is better or worse. At least the plastic from the screen is not rubbing against it. By the way, I put the pipe tube all along the back of the screen, not just where it was rubbing on the seat so it seems to hit a little on the seats themselves. I may cut it back just so it does not do that.

Can you snap a pic of the foam? Although the crease is there there it does look better than the crease that was there from the screen itself.

I would guess that putting anything between it will only increase the pressure against the seat...and the mark. Is there any way to modify it so it sits 3/8" forward?

I noticed that mine does the same thing. It only rubs when the screen (vertical part) is in the down position (laying flat) if you leave the screen up it looks like there is about a 1/16" to 1/8" gap between the rear of the (horizontal) windscreen and the seat back. So to solve the problem I just keep the screen up (or out).
