Definitely a huge difference between the 5th and 6th gen appearance wise. I was never a Camaro fan until the gen 6 zl1 came out. When the s550 mustang came out its looks were far superior to the 5th gen Camaro and I honestly for the longest time thought I'd end up getting a gt350. Clearly I changed my mind lol.

As you'll recall the 2010 Camaro SS design which followed thru until the "refresh" had won numerous international design awards. So, Gen 5's have nothing to regret! That said, the new Gen 6 ZL1 has so many design differences that are enhanced. From the body sculpting lines and design that are groomed in from the front to rear, to the mechanics, and interfaces. With the 18's out, and in the 7th year of improvement (on ZL1's) the product delivered is simply delivering more in total. And, pricing has remained relatively static - a real bargain. I will always recall the emotional appeal the 2010's emoted.
