I would expect to see a lot more of this type thing for all Gen5 Camaros...the reveal of the 6th Gen isn't too far off and perhaps the need to move "older" 5th Gens is greater than past years where the cars were basically the same....

GM 20% cash back offer
Quote:
I would bet with the volume of calls this dealer will get, he's updating the price hourly until he sells it. Simple supply and demand. As of 1600 PDT today, it's still for sale. Interesting stuff! Flash: Two Red 2015s with air; eligible for 20% cash back (about $61K) near me, today, 12/19/14. See Chevy site Z/28 dealer inventory for zip 92026 area. More interesting stuff showing up! Great idea for this thread, soulsea! Last edited by lostwon; 12-19-2014 at 02:17 AM. Reason: update |

Saw one Autotrader last night for $57,790 I believe. It was a white one and it also even had the A/C & Speaker option.

Maybe if the general would have done a better job pricing them to begin with they wouldn't have had to fire sale them. Just wait till the valves start dropping like on the Z06's.

Pretty sure they got the head machining issues solved for the LS7's in these cars (at least I hope they were that smart).

This thread is dangerous to my kids' college fund, LOL.
Low $60k's for a beast like this is exceptional.

autotrader has 211 of them listed within 500 miles of Richmond, VA. The best deal listed was a used one in Nashville for $56K with 4K miles. New GM offer is 0% for 72 months. Most of them are listed at sticker price.

There are a few on ebay with very low mileage for mid high sixties-these are most likely the one's people bought last Dec during the 20% off, and are now trying to flip for profit. That's giong to back fire big time as you xan already is get 0% on new one's( in spring), and they will most likely bring another round of deep discounts to scour them out by Labor day.

Another scenario would be the way of the 2014 Shelby GT500. Knowing Ford does not have a current GT500 in the 2015-2016 lineup, dealers are holding and upping pricing on the 14's they have and the market is holding.
That would make the December deal makers genius. |

I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but even I bought one in Dec, and think lightning will strike again. Would love to pick up a ZL1 for 20% off, IMO neither of these two make it back in a Gen 6. |
