The New Corvette Stingray Concept
I just want to say openly,.....this is the only car I'd try to trade my Camaro SS in for. Of course it wouldn't be enough to purchase the car, but it would damn sure help us on the down-payment part. This car is just absolutely amazing. Seeing the 2010 Camaro and Corvette Stingray Concept makes me love the direction GM is heading. I really love the new design direction they're taking with these cars; they're starting to look like something more than cars. But anyway,...here is the new Corvette Concept. Anyone planning on trying to get this technological accomplishment of human history once it's available for order?

While this concept has been around for awhile, it doesn't change the fact it is still awesome!

Design study only. C7 will incorporate minor details of this, but it's not going into production.

You will never see split rear window on a production version, nor the mirrors and probably not the interior. Im going to say this car never makes it to production...and again like the my vararam rants, I hope Im wrong.

I'd have to agree, Since I can't see the pics (I'm at work) I'm gonna assume that it's the centennial concept that was in transformers. No way, not in a million years GM is going to give us that exact car. You thought backing up the camaro was bad. And the visibility is just gonna be that much worse all around. Mirrors would definitely have to be changed. The design is just too risky, and I don't see GM putting it out. I expect them to make some small changes to the C6, and that's about it. But that's just my expectations.

As for the interior...it's definitely possible now. The OLED touch-screens in the XTS concept are basically production from what I've heard, they're just looking for the best way to produce them now. I may be wrong. If I am, don't laugh too hard Number 3. I'm just passing along what I know.

However, my guess is the rear (with tailights etc) is changed dramatically, that just seems way too much of a radical change. Also while they will probably keep something close to the stingray design on the front sides, my guess is they get downplayed and the lights moved somewhere else.

I doubt it will have a split window. I just don't see that happening (especially considering a split window was only available on the 63's.) The split window isn't a characteristic of the Corvette.
This thing will never see the daylight of production. Subtle cues might be used from it, but the C7 design won't be as radical as this thing. The only thing I could really see happening from this car is that sexy interior. Hot damn.
