2023 Engine options
With orders opening within the next 20 days for the 2023 model year, does anybody have any concrete knowledge of engine options. There have been a lot of rumors floating around, but leaks have been very very rare.

My bet is there will be no engine changes. Rumors are just that - juicy thoughts that are not facts. GM is unlikely to sink any more development costs into the Camaro since it is near its life cycle end.

GearheadSS posted a screenshot of the 2023 order screen that lists the LT1 in another thread. No LT2 for this year.

GM isn't going to waste money certifying new powertrains on a dying model.

I don’t think they’d ever put the LT5 in the Camaro if that’s what you’re asking. As much as I’d love to see it, I think it gets too close to Corvette Z territory and they (GM) don’t want that..
I would say the most likely changes will be the Blackwing supercharger. Other than that I don’t see them changing anything.

Can you share any info on what was in the pipeline before development on the Camaro was scrapped? Would be interesting to get a glimpse of what could have been if things had gone differently.
