Little thing that bugs me. . .

There's not many things I don't Love about the Camaro. . .

......................but

I don't care for the huge gap on the side mirrors. . .

......I like the design of the mirrors, but wished the fit the actual glass would of been better.

That's a reasonable complaint. It doesn't make or break the car, but it is a detail that can be a little annoying. I'm fairly certain that an aftermarket company will be working on concept mirrors if you want to do a full swap, but no one has announced work on this yet.

I don't understand where this gap is? Is this what you mean?

Because if its where i think you mean, (the outside of the mirror, between it and the mirror glass, where i circled) then that has to be there. There has to be a gap for the mirror to move! That one just says the person was looking more down the side of the car, then the road/background.

The mirrors have to have a full 360* range of motion for different sizes of drivers, hence why the gap i circled is so big. This driver was looking more down the side of the car, then the road/background.

If its not there, then i apologize ahead of time.

Yeah, it's just the angle of the mirror. Someone probably bumped it, or played with the adjustment for it.

From the same set of pictures that that one is from, the SIM SS/RS

Every car's mirror will be like that. It's so you can adjust it.

Good observation, I think it's just cranked full inward.

I hope they can get more paint on the recessed part of that mirror pocket. It looks a little sparce.

ok. . .that sounds right. . . It's the second picture I've seen like this and thought it was a small mirror in a big holder.

My pet peeve is the gas filler is on the wrong side, LOL

Every car I owned the filler was in the rear or drivers side where it belongs. I had ONE car where is was wrong, it was a Lincoln LSC. what a PITA.

I had them on both and I have to agree, having it on the driver sides is a lot better.

I dont think that they are that bad i think it is the angle of the picture that makes that gap look huge. But I do understand your meaning, because the mirror is something you will look at a hundred times while you drive. I could drive you nuts.

What would be nice is auto folding mirrors with led signals. My mazda has aftermarket mirrors that fold when in park and turned off and have leds. I think that would look so cool. People take twos when they see them fold.

Concept mirrors! That would be amazing. We'd also have to hope they are legal and large enough of a mirror to be functional.
