Realistic Price?

I plan on ordering or finding a 2021 2SS 1LE with the following options:

A10
1LE Package
Carbon Fuel Filler Door
Shock, Crush or Wild Cherry (not sure yet)

MSRP on Chevy's site is $52,765

I'm wondering what realistically I could ask for this car. I plan on ordering February 1 to get the car for the spring.

I'm hoping to get enough off to cover the taxes, which is NJ is 6.625% or $3,495. Does that seem realistic?

Way cheaper, takes 60 seconds to install and you'll have your original painted gas cap if you want to go back...

One data point for you, I got ~10% off MSRP with my 2SS ordered back in Jan/Feb 2018.

I did roughly the same on my 2SS I ordered last November and took delivery of in January...

That's a ZL1 1LE. The SS 1LE is available with the A10 for 2021 and that's what the OP is talking about.

You’re probably gonna be hard pressed to work a deal on a 2021 that you are ordering. Maybe go through the car configurator and then send it to 3 dealers. When companies order vehicles they send the request to several dealers and who ever comes back at the best price wins. That’s the game you’ve got to work with. Whether there’s a certain way you got to do it I don’t know.

The only way you can probably get that much off is if GM is offering a rebate. With the current rebate on the 20 you are definitely within striking distance of that discount. I just got about that amount off a 1SS1LE (manual) and your MSRP is way higher.

But I was able to use a $1500 rebate.

The best I could do was invoice. No one would budge below that. That was about 5%

I got the $1500 2020 rebate and I dealt with member VQ35DE to net an extra $500 off by using his card points.

With all that, I ended up about 9% below MSRP.
