new '18 1SS manual base w/NPP-good deal?

Dealer just called me and quoted me $32,070 + tax/license for 2 1ss base manuals w/NPP and black wheels (nightfall gray and silver). He said no incentive qualification needed.
MSRP 39,570.

If that's for real, pretty good deal especially here in SoCal! I kinda wanted to go A10 but best price I could get was $37,500. And since this is primarily a weekend car (I work from home), manual probably is fine.

Thoughts on price?
Thx.

That's basically 19% off MSRP. Its a fine deal. Now you just have to decide if its what you really want.

Less than I paid for my non-NPP A8 '18 back in May by about $1,000, I'd say its a deal.

However, I've seen crazier deals on here, who knows how truthful, so may be worth just researching yourself what other dealers are offering.

I've researched. Best I've found by far around here. I've driven the manual too. It was quite beastly.

Very good deal, especially if you like the 18 better than the 19 refresh. Would be tough to do better on a used car and you get more favorable financing on new.

I've seen used ones sell for more. If the desired color is right, buy it.

Thanks for the replies. I'll drive it one more time and decide. I'd be coming back to a V8 manual. I sold my '15 Mustang GT PP, Whipple S2 supercharged last year. Was my weekend car and kind of miss the V8 sports car. The Whippled Stang was almost too much for the streets though especially with 3.73s. Traction was impossible off the line as well.

The 1SS is probably too much for the streets too but more manageable.

If those have the color/options you're looking for, I'd jump on it. Low option 1SS cars are the best deals!

I ended up with essentially the same car (1SS manual w/ NPP, wheel, and color option) and for a similar price with incentives that stacked up in March 2017 + some negotiation. I considered holding out for slightly better deals, but then you risk not getting the color/options you want.

For about $33.5, I can get an A8 1SS NPP as well. Honestly if the A8s didn't have the shudder possibility and was known to be a reliable as the manuals, I'd probably go A8. But if I got the shudder, I know I'd be kicking myself.....and other things.

I'm not that picky on colors. I like the NGM but this one has the black wheels. NGM with black wheels, makes the car look almost like a shadow....lol. But the black wheels hide the brake dust. Silver w/black wheels looks pretty good too but something about it doesn't pop on the Camaro plus my Mustang was silver. But either color works for me. I like anything but black due to maintenance and it's a heat magnet.

You won't be disappointed with the manual! The TR6060 is buttery smooth (compared to my '00 Z28 T56) and I really like the clutch setup. No-lift shift and active rev match are a bonus!
