Received my JWM smoked side markers today. Seem like good quality. Only took 17 days to deliver to my door in Canada not bad.

Rears are pretty easy. i have a technique that makes it fast. I use a pick to pull the carpet in the wheel well back enough and pop the top clip out. Then I grab my flashlight and the longest flat head screwdriver I have and pop the bottom clip out from the bottom of the rear bumper.
No removing splash guards or rear tire. I don't even have to jack the rear up, but that depends on how big you are.

None of them last. I have heard stories of all the brands even the expensive ones burning out. I would Buy the 40.00 ones from Amazon and call it a day. I have the original JWM from almost 3yrs ago and the passenger side rear has about 6-7 leds burnt out from the bottom up. It just looks a little shorter when lit so I haven't messed with it. JWM sent me a new set free of charge but I have just been sitting on them.

I changed all of mine without removing the wheels...it's not hard at all.

Thx for the advise. I have to install my rear splash guards anyways so I'll pull the tire off. Also gives me a chance to clean the calipers and inside of the wheel. First time jacking this car up I'll have to check the manual for the jack points.

I think $99 USD was worth the little extra vs cheap ones. I also wonder if the quality of the LED's hasn't improved since you got your JWM's years ago. Glad to hear they replaced them how long was your warranty period ?

i jacked mine on the back and use really small ratchet tool with a screwdriver tip. something similar to what is linked below. saves taking the wheel off.
