Has anyone added a resonator to an aftermarket exhaust?

I have an AWE cat back on my Camaro and it's rowdy and obnoxious as it should be, that said I take the car to work maybe one or two days a week so not bad on the hood in the mornings. Last month I purchased a 23 GMC Sierra with duel exhaust outlets, I purchased an AWE cat back for it and it's not Camaro loud but a bit much for a daily driver IMHO, looking at installing a Vibrant 16" resonator ahead of the 180 box, anyone have experience with this? If it works out I may do two 12" on the 1LE.
