Try to polish it out the best you can then decide if you need more. You can round the edges over and blend it in. It will still be there but it wont stand out and will have to look to see it

Dr Colorchip doesnt work on hairline scratches like this. It will pull right out once you try and level it.

I have had a worse scratch on my old 12 black mustang gt door from something sharp in someone's pocket rubbed against it.
I polished it out there where you could not see it unless you looked really hard.

I did wet sand it for like 5sec
Try polishing it out by hand and see how you like it and then go from there.
If you know someone with a polisher you could hit it with 3000grit for like a few quick passes and they can use the polisher for like 30sec and be done. There is zero need to go hunting down something silly like someone to spot-paint it and such unless you really want it 100% gone to perfection
Dr Colorchip would work perfect on this. It doesn't "pull out" because you allow it to partially dry before you come back with the final step that dissolves away the excess. Also, you can absolutely keep going back over the repair after allowing it to fully cure each time to build up the amount of repair paint that fills the scratch.

It will pull out but it’s up to you op. It doesn’t hurt to have touch up but for this issue the polishing is going to be your best bet and cleanest look

If the repair paint is coming out of the scratch, you're polishing with too much pressure. It takes a light touch, and let the chemicals do the work.

Self-admitted fanboy of Turtle Wax’s new line of ceramic and graphene products. Doubtful this will “fix” but may improve how visible the OP’s scratch is. This is an all-in-one remedy for paint correction. My ZLE had some lot scratches that needed addressing. The Precision Platelet worked as advertised. Got rid of the scratches and left a nice wax-like finish.

OP, have you taken it to a body shop for an estimate? Just askin' cuz they're gonna tell you it's $300. If you want it to GO AWAY, IMHO that is what a good shop is going to charge and you'll never know its there.

If you can sleep at night when you can still see it, then polish it out. No biggie. But if you're like most Camaro guys, with a brand new 2023 bright blue SS, you know what you gotta do.

Now hurry up and get the estimate so you can prove me right and get it fixed, sleep better.

It will probably take you a few tries... don't get discouraged. The key is that you have to let the chemicals do the work for the last step - don't polish with too much pressure.

I would definitely give the area a good polish. I would personally correct whole panel. Level the edges of the scratch.

Use a panel prep after to make sure no polish is left in scratch.

Then as mention before you do not have to buff with excess pressure. Saturate rag with blending solution and light wiping. Barely any pressure.
