Goodbye Canada!

I really enjoyed meeting so many of my fellow Canadian members in person, but it is time for me to return to the US. After 2 1/2 years in Toronto we are being transfered from Oshawa back to the US. We are not returning to MI, but are headed to Texas! Just before winter! Bad news is my husband will be turning in his current Camaro :( which means he will be ordering one shortly. We'll be in Canada for a bit longer, but need to vacate our condo, sell our MI house, and find a house in Texas! I'll be busy! Thank you to all of you who included me in your outings, meet-ups, etc.--I enjoyed meeting many of you!

Thanks for all the posts you guys did before the cars were available. I think you answered everyone's questions for several weeks. Then some not-so-nice things happened to both of you. I hope everything works out and who knows, you might enjoy the Southwest!

Good luck on the move! Eric keeps telling me I should move there and work at Classic - but he also keeps talking about 106 degree's.......I told him he wasn't winning me over!!!

Will you be working on anything in GM's future???

Thanks for all your contributions!

I'm sorry we never got to meet in person , but thank you for all your posts, pictures, and information. It was well appreciated by me, for sure, and everyone else.

I wish you both all the best and hope you settle in nicely in Texas, try not to miss the Canadian winters too much , but keep any eye to the Gulf when the wind picks up.

We hope to keep seeing posts & pics from you, especially when you get settled, in Texas. I'm sure there's some beautiful landscapes there for picture taking.

You will be missed up here, but remember you always have a HOME IN CANADA and let us know if ever you're in the neighbourhood.

GOOD LUCK & TAKE CARE!

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our loss is definitely Texas' gain. I am so happy that my car was built under Jeff's watch. I hope you and Jeff remember you'll always have family up here! Hope to see you again before you leave.

Good luck to you in the future! Is your husband gonna wait to order? (You know, maybe he has just happened to hear the last letter of the alphabet followed by a 28 floating around HQ...........)

Thank you all! I really did enjoy my time in Canada and have met many nice people. There is something nice about being at a plant that builds Camaros that was more fun than Cavaliers/Cobalts (Our last plant assignment)! No offense...but!

We are transferring within GM...Arlington Assembly that currently builds the large SUVs, so Scotty maybe I'll have to meet Eric at Classic to buy our next cars....unless we wait for the Z28...just kidding...couldn't resist!!!!

Heather

Your husband Jeff was a welcome addition to the Oshawa team and will be missed. Always friendly and always had time to talk with the men/women on the shop floor. I wish you both a safe trip to Texas and best regards.

It was nice to meet you at the plant on March 16th, and to talk with your husband there afterward was pretty informative too. When will you be leaving? Any chance you will be here for the get together at the plant being planned for the end of September? Anyways, while you're in Texas you'll probably run into Tag at sometime.
