I like the numbers those intakes make but, I don't like the hoods that are required to use it. :(

hard to argue with a SAE dynojet run, I would have said not possible, but there it is... and even with a "small" tube header.. which is leaving 5 to 10 HP right there IMO... It would be interesting to see what 2" headers with 2 feet extended collectors running open would do for the ultimate FBO dyno run... Very impressed and not this thing does NOT drop off in the mid range like the MSD...

I ported my MSD, it was not as "bad" as the stock intake. Of course, it is WAY easier to port the MSD. Really not too bad on the casting and glue used to join the pieces. I do want to fill in some places and have been meaning to ask, has anyone filled in some of the seems with something like 2 part epoxy?

Little update..
Went to a track rental and finally got some good testing in. Ended up running a 10.828@ 126 with a 1.54 60 ft. I did manage a better 60 ft that was a 1.517. 1/8 mile was a 6.94@ 101. Did do a 6.92@103 as well. Weather conditions werent the best but way better than what im use to. Da came in at 3155 and grains at 108 with a temp of 85. It made for a pretty hot and muggy day |
