That hurt to watch. That's why I always jack mine up with the magpad from ZL1 Addons.

A Camaro6 member posted this back in 2016. The dealer lifted the car incorrectly.

Was that the sound of metal buckling that I heard almost as soon as he started raising the jack?

I have been to three different dealers with my ZL1's. Non of them had any clue how to properly lift a camaro. When I explained the pinch weld lift areas, you could just about feel their eyes roll, in disgust like I was some anal retentive moron.

Mine is like this on both sides. Is there a way for me to fix this at home?

i had an issue with dealer not lifting right as well. The damage was not as bad, but lucky for me, they owned it and fixed it. As it was mild, i didn't notice it until a weel after it had been in for service and i was cleaning/detailing the car.

First pic was driver side, with no visible damage. Second pic was the passenger side.

So, guess the lesson is inspect closely, even when going to a dealer!
