Was this with the new flush/fluid TSB GM released?

I'd have to dig it out and look.

Is the new flush with Mobil 1 or is there a new new flush procedure?

To my understanding it’s just new fluid. Not sure if the procedure has changed.

New flush equipment was also introduced, it is supposed to be able to remove the old fluid more thoroughly.

EDIT: I've found this post to corroborate: https://www.midenginecorvetteforum.c...9969#post29969

I highly recommend trying the Range AFM Disabler. Eliminate the TC Pulse solenoid entirely by shutting AFM off. It makes a world of difference in my truck - no more V4 mode and the truck is smooth as silk.

If GM would of put in a ZF 8HP transmission none of this would be happening.

Hindsight is 20/20, and they apparently did a better job with the Hydra-Matic 10L90 (none of the ZL1 A10 folks are drooling after the ZF), so it isn't like they can't design a good trans. Wonder if we'll ever find out what exactly went wrong with the 8L45/8L90.

A couple of months after my flush and replace, the car is running perfectly. I don't believe AFM was ever my problem, but I'm deleting that b.s. with a custom tune shortly anyway, hate the "interruption" while I'm enjoying the V-8 version...
