No heavily modded cars (Want to keep the warranty)
Interior/Exterior must be clean!
No accidents or title issues
Under 20k miles


I'm open to different colors. I'm willing to travel for the right car.

Trade-In values on these are $33k-$36k right now. I just started thinking about parting with mine, and had a trade in quote. You can check on KBB too.

You might have to adjust your offer price or wait until winter. No one looks for sports cars in the winter and you might score a better deal then. Right now, there's pretty low inventory of used 1LE's.

Only thing I agree with you said is that there is a low inventory of used 1LE's. A month ago there were several 32-33k cars for sale but they all sold(because that's what they're worth). Trade in value is absolutely not 33-36k as there are cars listed at that price currently which means trade in is between 28-31k.

I saw a new 2019 for 39.8K, can't imagine trade in values are up tp 36K, don't care how much people say they don't like the refresh of the 19.

Near me, dealers don’t budge, and that price of $39k is with a ton of incentives that you’ll be lucky to receive.

A quick search on cars.com produces seven 2017 1LE’s. The cheapest is $32k with 58k miles. Location is a large factor, and should be considered

If I was looking right now, I would plan on spending $35k for a low mileage 17 or 18. I wouldn’t consider the 19, and that’s probably true for other buyers. Supply is low, and at this current moment, you’ll be paying a premium for a car where there are more buyers than sellers, if you don’t want to spend your summer haggling over a couple thousand dollars.

And a month ago there were 4 or 5 cars at 30-32k with 10k miles or so. It's how the market goes, those reasonably priced cars sold quickly now there isn't much. We get it, you own one currently and want the value as high as possible.

How is your $32k true, while my $32k is false?



Looks like all the 1LE's in the low $30's are snapped right up because they are worth a little bit more.


He's looking for upper $20's to about $30k, I'm thinking he's going to be closer to mid $30's OTD.
