In April 2019 I bought a brand new 2018 Camaro 1SS. On my SS I am following the GM Track specification for breaking in the engine as I got my first oil change at 500 miles and will do another at 1500. The spec is metallic gray with gray/white interior, dual mode performance exhaust. In less than a month I have cut the secondary cats out and replaced with straight pipe, tinted windows to 5%(no tint on windshield), expel clear paint protected the front end($$$$), custom Camaro SS license plate frame, and Oracle clear glass LED side markers. Most recently ordered a rear diffuser, rock/mud guards, and rear body extensions from Wildhammer Motorsports. Looking forward to showing the community my Camaro. Will post pictures and videos soon! Have a good day all!

Heres a link to my introduction!

+1

I had to run to NAPA and grab one of these last week in the middle of changing my oil. Worked great.

Changed the Tail lights to the OEM black/clear ones, replaced 3rd brake light and side markers with blacked out LED ones. Changed the Camaro side badges, and changed bowties to OEM black bowties. Then a quick two bucket wash. Next up is installing the SEMA grill and then she gets new wheels, front splitter, side rockers panels and a rear diffuser for a full exhaust system Kooks LT into Borla S Type, quad tip. Likely going to replace the red SS badge with the black and chrome one as well. The project has only just begun!

This is the type of product that FINALLY got the filter off for me! After doing so many runs to Walmart, AutoZone, and O'Reillys, I was about to give up, pour the new oil into the engine with the old filter, drive it to a shop and have them redo the oil change.

Thank God for this device!!!!! It's quite ingenious in the fact that it tightens as you turn the wrench. Wish I had known about it sooner lol. First oil change took me ~6-7 hours... Next one will take 20 mins...

Swapped out the stock pads for the Powerstop Z26 pads. Painted the calipers with the G2 caliper kit.

Washed, Clay bared, waxed everything but the hood. Have new hood vinyl coming in tomorrow. So no need to wax. it. Added blue to my hood heat exchangers too while I was at it.

I absolutely love the blue lights you fitted under your heat extractors! Can you post a picture how they look and how they were installed under the hood? Also do you have a link? They would look great with my mosaic black hood!

Got up at the ass-crack of dawn and finally got her washed. Christ, what a mess. First wash in like 6 months. Poor thing.
