Hard to believe its been a year already, but it has. I would have never guessed back then, I would be here today, tuning my own ECM and TCM, and I couldn't be happier! It's amazing what nothing more than a tune and a couple little mods can do on these little turbos!! My car has gone through a lot, and held strong. I'm probably going to take a break from my car for awhile, enjoy what its become, and help out some local guys and some forum members in the LTG community enjoy their little 2.0's. Thanks for all the input and advice from everyone along the way:very much appreciated!!!

Couple little updates: Did the GM dark tail and 3rd. Plastic coated the back sides of my side markers. I placed multiple coats on, the results were very nice I think. The thickness of the plastic coat pushed the lenses more flush, and made for an overall tighter fit. Also been doing more trans tuning work. Its getting very fast!!

I should update my build.

LSD, downpipe, intake, cold side charge pipe, Recirc valve, and my PCM and TCM tune on E85.
This is my fastest street time to date.

Looks like you have started a nice build and that GM Blade spoiler looks good on there. Always glad to see some turbo builds, Keep us updated!

Pulled the trigger on a lightweight daily rotatable set up. They are currently in the body shop being painted a flat black. 19" square set up. Asa GT14'S ended up coming in right at 24lbs each VS the stock wheel at 32lbs each. Also got rid of the run flats at 31lbs each for some Gmax AS-05'S that came in right at 25lbs each. So shaved a total of 56lbs of rotational mass, 14lbs per corner!!

Got the wheels painted and installed! I had forgot how much of a difference a lightweight wheel can make for all areas of driving! Very happy with the look. Not the best angles, a little less wheel gap than I had stock, but couldn't wait to drive it,.. Soon, a turbo upgrade is coming!!

Just saw my buddy post up the 16SS he just got and reminded me I need to update my build. Been super busy as usual tuning mostly, but have changed some things up. Sitting at over 80k miles now, still stock internals no issues. Pushing roughly 40 across the MAF daily. A couple of things I am doing/were doing/ or am in the middle of!



Beautiful catch can set up from Tracy Lewis Performance. Turbosmart 50/50. Awesome 20G Hybrid upgrade from Turbos R Us. Last but certainly no least, a 6th port injection system using split second controller from Gibspeed Automotive Solutions.

Bill, you sure aren't resting on your laurels, great parts and plans. Your car still looks great, too Isn't this too much power though? You're already above stock SS levels, aren't you?

(Of course I shouldn't talk, but honestly the car changes to something else after a point, mine is just short of the brink, I can still take my wife out and hear no complaints, but anything more and it becomes a total single purpose toy...)
