used camaro?
I'm about to take a road trip to check out a used 18 SRT with only 2.7k miles for 44k. But also noticed they have a couple 19 2SS autos for sale for around 40k. They look pretty sweet too. The red one has 14k miles and looks to be pretty standard with no added options. The black one has MRC, borla exhaust, React tuner by hypertech and Z28 aftermarket wheels, but it has 18.5k miles. Sounds like kind of high miles to me, but I haven't driven a 10 speed yet. I was also almost ready to pull the trigger on a 19 Challenger Shaker and still thinking about a couple left over new 18 SS for several grand less. I know I'm a little all over the board, but they are all pretty close performance wise. I just think the SRT is the best value with all its standard equipment and they go for over 52k new.

You should be able to buy a brand new 2019 2SS Camaro for around 40k. I got mine under 40 with 3 miles on the odometer.

Yeah, definitely the 392. I've narrowed it down to a new loaded Shaker in octane with red seats for around 43.5k or a used torred SRT with black seats for about 44k if I go Challenger. The hellcat would be nice, but around 50k would be about the cheapest for a used 16 or 17. The Camaros do look to be a couple grand less, but they don't seem to hold their value as well and hear they are not as easy to live with as a DD.

Drove a couple Challengers. I liked them but they just seemed to bloated to be really confidence inspiring. After driving the Camaro SS A10, I was totally sold on the Camaro. Felt way more sporty, nimble, confidence inspiring than the Camaro or Mustang GT and the power is awesome too.
I never wanted a 2SS though so I paid around $33K for my '19 1SS. I had a Mustang so got the $2K additional rebate for that. |
