Recaros?
I tried searching for this but to no avail. I'm thinking of getting an 18SS with the Recaro seat option. It says on the sticker front bucket seats, but in the pics it looks to have the same suede inserts in the back seats too. I've seen pics of other cars that have the regular leather seats in the back. Also for those that have them, do you like them or do any of you wish you got the regular seats instead?

It depends on your body type. If you are overweight.. you will probably not like them. The only way to be certain is to sit in it for yourself.

What about the rears matching the fabric? I'm thinking they match in a 2SS, but not in a 1SS?

Hi new 2019 Camaro 2SS owner here with the Recaro Seats. Hope i can answer a few questions for you on this.
First off i believe if the car has Recaro seats in the front and leather in the back that is personal install, not factory. Mine came with Recaro in front and back. ... but dont quote me on this, a dealership "should" .... SHOULD know about this... but i say should littely there because really they know way less than i did going in every time. (dear sellers if you want to sell a vehicle... know your shit about that vehicle!) I am a bucket seat tip of guy for sitting in sporty cars so i went with them plus they feel comfortable for me. I did double check on this buy going into my nearest dealership and sitting in one with leather and Recaro and fell in love with Recaro seats right off the bat. Some people love them, some people do not example my parents do not but they are big people as well. Now on long trips you may want that extra cushion because at around 4 hours i do get some discomfort when driving but it could be the mindset as well because my drive is 4 1/2 hours for my current work. Just a thought to throw out there for ya. With the 2SS you do get the cooling and heated feature in the Recaro seats. Heated is a nice feature as well as the cooling... especially on days were its 75+ degrees in temp. The seats do get hot on a hot day and you will need the cooling feature turned on unless you want a sweaty back. Hope this answers your questions, if not just ask. |
