It’s a Tremec

Look up Ford Focus / Fiesta and see how reliable their Tremec DCT has been. Scary to think that they couldn’t build one to handle a weak I4, but now think they can build one to survive a V8 plus track duty?! Yikes. No thanks

So far so good since my fluid flush/change, 4K miles on it and it's working fine...

Give the guy a break. He's from Brazil and I bet his SS already cost a fortune, now you're trying to make him take a huge hit with a trade or a private sale?

Nine thousand miles since I had the flush done in February at 35K on the odometer. No problems so far. Feeling pretty good about it.

8000 miles on new fluid and no problems.

I had my TC replaced and fluid flushed (pretty sure not the newest fluid) at roughly 30k miles. I'm now over 45k miles. Car has been great ever since!

No recurrence...

I’m pretty happy to hear these responses. I failed on my research before buying mine and didn’t know anything about this problem. Then about a week after I bought it, it became horrible with the rumble strip feel and sound and also the jerky shifting. I was panicking since it only had 16,000 miles. Scheduled a flush and it is like a brand new transmission. Very happy although that was only 500 miles ago. Glad to hear the “fix”is holding up!!

Slips, delays, jerks, I can live with it as long as it doesn't start shuddering. I did get the new fluid. Go drive a dodge challenger, you'll want to dump your A8 Chevy GM extend and pretend POS.

The C8 DCT is 100 % tremec. This is not a GM built transmission.
