SAE and a flat torque curve... I'm very impressed.

543 with a 16% power loss via the auto and dunno 4,5 or 6th gear ( I own an M6)? After that, we get into semantics. The best determination of actual HP under the curve is trap speed (no ET). Horsepower is a unit of work, the integration of said power under the curve = speed.

Power = work overtime.

With about a 18-19% loss from the crank to the wheels this would be around 550 hp 550 tq!

If I am reading this right, that's $6,500-$7,000+ for 455whp?

Arent whipples around that price?

The intake is that much better than the stock one ported? Seems I read the MSD is for power at the top end? Not so much lower and mid range.

Midrange I will say it matches a ported stocker. Under 2000 rpms maybe a little loss.

You'd spend more for a supercharger installed and tuned. It really depends on what you're after as well, naturally aspirated works better for autocross and road course racing where forced induction is typically more fun on the street and strip. Don't get me wrong we have a lot of boosted cars running all sorts of events but some people prefer NA power. We also offer Supercharged packages.

I've found it to be better everywhere with the exception of below 3000 RPM where they are nearly identical.

That is correct. I run a non-ported MSD on my 700 WHP N/A 440ci LT1 and it flows excellent out of the box.

Thank you for the reply. Now I know earlier minimal low end losses to the ported stock IM were discussed, but when comparing an unported stock IM vs an unported msd, the msd has the edge pretty much accross the board correct?
