Karma typically doesn’t come with the camera. And yes, it can be a little confusing.

Trail Ridge Road

BTW, anyone have any issues with their Blind Spot Monitoring not working above 11,000'? During this drive the Jeep's BSM asked me to wipe off the sensors even tho' there wasn't anything on them. I'm guessing the air density had something to do with it.

Where is that? Pikes Peak or one of the passes near Rocky Mt National Forest? I’m going to be in Estes Park on 3 sep for the night. Coming down from Devils Tower and Mt. Rushmore. I’m in the 18 Silverado though. No camaro this trip. I’ll be up on Pikes Peak on the 4th. Headed to Santa Fe to do some “Dark Skies” astrophotography...

That’s part of Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. We were in the Jeep.

Be aware that they’re doing construction on the Summit House on Pike’s Peak so parking is at a premium up there. Also, get up there early if you can. Better views of Colorado Springs and surrounding areas, less of the day’s haze.

You’ll be coming right though my “back yard” for Pike’s Peak. (Of course I’m a bit further east.) If you can avoid I-25 between Castle Rock and Monument you’d be MUCH better off. Highway widening project, locally called “The Gap”, is always a traffic choke point.

Safe travels.

Are you suggesting an alternative to I-25, like, say, CO83?

I have a doubt.
I have purchased the original Chevrolet Air Performance Intake kit, and in the instructions there are indications that the vehicle must be reprogrammed for this kit, and even an official service code which includes the installation by Chevrolet.
Do you know if reprogramming is necessary?.

Hi Aki,
There are a few videos available in EU and the result is about -10 to -20PS (hp)
Officially the tune is not available for the EU . you will gain sound but loose some power at the peak.

Great video Ric.
Did you noticed some power loss at this hight?
I didn’t know that the Camaro had Pitot tubes like the Boing.

Yalp. Going from Parker to around Monument, CO-83 is getting a bit more crowded with the construction on 25, but it flows more consistently. You’ll probably jump over to 25 at CO-105 so you’re not too far out of your way toward Pike’s Peak.

Just a thought, your mileage may vary on time of day.

Those would have probably helped.

Question, if I do not reprogram and install the high flow filter, what problems can I have?, Apart from the loss of HP, according to Soleil.
I appreciate answers

I had mine on for almost 6 months before the tune (reprogram) was applied and I didn’t really notice any difference before/after. I had the tune applied earlier this year.

Gotcha. Thank you for the heads up!
