True dat. I will way a “as measured” Dynojet dyno is spot on about as accurate as you can get. So if in doubt, as for the actual hp reading CF = zero

I'm no expert, but I have spoken to Dynojet, and they said this NOT true on the later model dynos.

We need to exchange #s. I felt the Same as you, my tune came back identical with a tcm tune as well. My tuner is one of the best around and he says with those mods every 6th gen he does gets those #s BUT beats the crap out of other cars that claim more. His dyno reads low but the car is fast as hell. I have your same mods with kooks LTs catless etc. All the guys that have 6th gens go to him and get your #s and crush a lot of people. I actually broke traction at 55 on the highway when I punched it. Far as the exhaust lmao I was str8 pipe and woke up jesus on my cold starts. I put the stock Npp on pulled the fuse LIKE YOU sounded great!!! wanted louder like you!!! lol and ordered the Atak with Npp. it is what is!!! Same story i understand hahahahaha Alot of pros will say dont sweat dyno #s Sweat your time lol

I've gone over the installation work a few times now and don't find anything wrong, in fact just the opposite. They even spot welded the clamps so they would not come loose but don't need to completely cut if I want to do something different.
I have gotten on it a few times (no track yet) and its definitely FASTER! FWIW I also got the tcm tune. Scheduled to get cats and tune out the cold start BRAAAAAP! I go to work at 5am and sure some of my neighbors will appreciate it. As I noted, I like the low aggressive tone, just looking to lower the volume a bit.

It's really, really hard to find someone who not only knows what they're doing, but cares enough to do it right. Speed shops are full of 20-35 year olds that don't have a clue, but love to beat their chests and act like big dogs. I'm not saying 20-35 year olds can't and won't do a good job, but there are just a lot of young speed shop dipsh**s I wouldn't let touch my car.
Just do your research and find someone who knows what they're doing. At the same time, I do agree dyno numbers are not the end all. I would definitely want to see a tune showing your somewhere around 12.5 through the rpm range if on gas, e85 is a little harder to know what afr you want unless you know the blend ratio. As far as tuning though, max power on a dyno is incredibly simple and easy to get. It's driveability that is what's tough. But on a bolt on m6, just about any tuner should be able to get that right. Big mods and automatics are different. |

If you are down for a drive a guy in San Diego is a LT1 specialist. He is known as the go to guy in the Corvette community. He did all the work on my brother-in-law Z06.
He pulled another 10hp and 11trq out of my car using less timing than my initial tunner. Excelsior motorsports
