Congrats! Looks awesome. That's saying something to switch from an M2 - that car is no slouch performance-wise and very desirable from a car enthusiast's point of view. What was your main motivation to trade your M2?

I came from an M235i. I liked it but didn't love it. Kind of boring. The 1LE is a beast in comparison. No regrets at all for me.

Good friend of mine has an M2. It's ok, pretty fast, but looks weak compared to the big, brash Camaro. Lacks soul including the engine sound. Nothing beats the big, American V8 thunder.

To me, it looks like an overrated, over priced tuner car. It starts at over 50 grand... uh, no thanks.

Good switch!

My two favs for the 1LE are white and red. All the colors look good, but the contrast between red and white with black accents is amazing.

Omg, I disagree big time! I used to think white was easy, but it is terrible. Lol After a 20 minute drive, the car is covered in black tire dust and road dust; especially the rear of the car. I replaced the brake pads with Powerstop pads (first thing I did along with ZL1 Addons rock guards) which helped with some of the dust, but it still gets filthy.

Also, the non metallic paints show swirls much more so than metallics in direct sunlight.

They look so good, but this will be that last white car I buy. Going back to metallic grey next time.

Honestly, this is the most difficult color I've had next to black. It shows every spec, every bug bomb, every rock chip, every scratch, swirl, and dust particle. :-(

White, yellow, black, these colors provide excellent contrast for blemishes and imperfections to show up, but how are you getting swirl marks to be so visible on a white car? Especially in sunlight where the glare should completely mask any reflections. Silver and gray are probably the most forgiving colors. I almost bought a silver 1LE but it looked so plain next to the red one.

Coming from a Phantom Black SS and working at a Heavy Machine dealership, white is easy haha!
