ZL1 FI Interchiller

Hey guys, this is probably a dumb question but I'm not very mechanically inclined. Does anyone here know if the FI Interchiller system for the ZL1 requires a tune in order to be installed? I've had my ZL1 for about a month now and have noticed some heatsoaking and wanted a fix for it without voiding my warranty. My local chevy dealer has given me the go ahead for stuff that doesn't touch the PCM like a rotofab and exhaust and stuff. Thanks!

No.

You would be leaving some power on the table with not assessing if you can place a few more degrees of timing in due to lower MAT

So besides leaving some power gains on the table, just installing the kit would work and it would keep the supercharger temps down? It would kind of suck to miss out on gains, just don't want to void warranty, so as long as it'd fix the heatsoaking I'd be happy. Thank you!

No tune needed.

T-town eh? I’m a couple hours north of you. If you do this job yourself I would love to come check it out. This is one of the first mods I’m considering myself

I was watching LethalGarage's video on his installation of the kit on his SS and it looks a little too above my head for me to try to install it. Stuff like disconnecting a few hoses and maybe taking the front bumper off I could do but having to completely recharge the AC system gets a little too complicated for me. If I did the install I'd probably take it to the Tuscaloosa Chevy dealership, they've been pretty good about installing stuff for me in the past.
