Battery pull after an O2 sensor change?
Just curious as to the best method for when changing sensors.
Swapping my B2S1 pre-sensor tomorrow due to failure. I'm at +25% LTFT right now. Is it a good idea to pull the battery for a few minutes after the replacement to clear learned values or should I just leave it be and let the trims adjust on their own?

You can also do #5 and #20 fuse pull.

You can just disconnect the negative terminal before you start. This is typically listed as the first step in many repairs in service manuals, especially for electronic components.
I'm not so sure that this would be relearning thing, as when it comes to O2's the ECU directly responds to the signal it receives. If you don't pull the negative terminal, there still shouldn't be any "relearn" involved, it should operate normally. You will probably still have a CEL which remains for x amount of drive cycles and shuts off when no faults are detected by the ECU. |

I did a battery pull.
Fired her up and no more stalling or +25% LTFTs. Shes running like a beast now!
