Hi guys, long time lurker here.
I've been looking at the new 2019 ZL1 updates. It sounds like if you get the Performance Data Recorder, that deletes the Forward Collision Alert. If you get PDR do you still have the rear view camera mirror?

If it's the same as my 18 year model then the camera is integrated into the display in the dash. I know the 19 year model has a better rear view image quality.

Hey Vigilante...I believe the OP is referring to the rear view camera/display available on the 19's. You are referring to the back up camera displayed in the head unit.

I have a 19 but unfortunately no PDR so I'm of little help. I can say that the new rear view camera is great feature!

'19 w/PDR here. Yes on the rear view camera mirror. You can also turn it off and it becomes a "traditional" mirror.

I do NOT have a PDR and do have the rear view mirror camera. I believe they are standard.

I have a 19 ZL1 1LE with PDR, no mirror camera for me, unless I don't know how to work it. LOL

Flip the switch on the mirror for the camera view. It looks like the old school day/night switch. My '17 ZL1 doesn't have it but my '19 Traverse has it...nice feature.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I remember reading the ZLE doesn't have the rear view mirror camera due to the wing.

Yes, I'm refering to the rear view mirror top center of windshield with the rear camera function. Not the reversing camera. Thanks.

19 ZL1 with PDR, NO 1LE package - yes to the mirror camera. The camera is located in the center of the spoiler's three legs. If the 1LE package does not have one then that is why - the wing wasn't designed to house it.

+1 thought I saw that posted here somewhere as well. I’m just a lowly 2018 ZL1 owner so can’t confirm any of it. Oops, answer just above.

You don't have it in your car, GM did not make a camera mount in the wing, there testing putting in the roof antenna for year 2020 car's.

OP in a ZL1 you can get both PDR and new mirror.
