ACS installed. After questioning the stability, ACS told me the key was to push on the back of wheel well felt as you pump rivet gun. So I took out bottom plug on wheel well and after aligning and drilling the holes, pulled the felt out to get my hand behind as I did the rivets. Couldn’t get the bottom plug back in as it’s covered by rock guard now but don’t think it will be a problem. They feel solid. And yes my tire is wacked. Car was a repo and they never had correct pressure for 8K miles. But got a great deal. Hope I do pictures correctly.

I installed the ZL1 Addons. Mine did come with black hardware which is easily addressed either way. The small gap in the rear doesn't bother me. Nothing a short piece of 1/4" foam insulation tape want fill. Easy to install. I never removed any tire at all. Rear was installed using a 1/4' gear wrench with a T15. About 45 minutes for all 4 corners.

This exactly what I did. The foam tape attracts debris and doesn’t last long. Also looks like shit on a beauty car. Looking forward to this ACS upgrade.

Check out this link. Its for the gen6 Camaro rock guard install front and rear. Keep in mind this is not for the ZL1, but informative all the same. The fronts install the same. Wont know about the rears until they are made.

Question... do these front flares (ACS) prevent how the front tires spray water all over the side doors and rear fenders when the roads are wet? I’ve been on the fence with buying these but may pull the trigger if that problem is eliminated.

For those who have them, what’s your experience?

Kind Regards,
Lou
