How are the Recaro seats?

Thinking of putting them the custom build for my LT1 are they worth it and do you still have 6 way controls?

Main interest is for the leather back seats

I love them in my LT1, my wife not so much. They hug really nice, but I guess if you've got hips they're not as comfortable and can squeeze a bit.

They have the six way, both driver and passenger, yes. Definitely worth the price over the stock seats in my opinion.

i find them pretty comfortable. I will say the only downside is the high thigh bolsters do make getting in and out a little less graceful

They are great for shorter rides, but can get a little uncomfortable in longer commutes if you're a bigger person.

If you don't race your car don't see a point. They are race seats and pretty uncomfortable if you ask me. Can't really relax in them. I daily my car and drive maybe 20 miles a day so no big deal, but I wouldn't want them if I had to drive longer distances. I drove 2ss for few days before I bought my 1le and didn't have that problem with reg seats

aside from the others inputs Recaro's were constrained on any cars but 1LE and ZL1, in the recent past they were and they could affect getting your order accepted when the dealer has an allocation. Unsure if that's ongoing or been resolved.

Quite interesting how experience can vary wildly! I must say the Recaro seats have been the most comfortable seats I've ever had in a car, never feeling sore/tired after driving 1800 miles back home over 3 days when I picked the car up.

I've seen a few comments above about them not being great for bigger guys. That could definitely be it, I'm only 145lbs and 5ft 7in. I remember the seats in my C5 Z06 and 2009 C6 Z06... While they were ok comfort-wise, they were definitely a major letdown in terms of support.

I love mine, and the wife seems to like them as well the couple of times she's ridden with me. The only thing I worry about is the thigh bolster getting worn down from getting in and out of the car, as I tend to squish it slightly when I first enter/exit.

I'm good with them, but had no choice with the ZL1. I recommend going to an auto show or visiting your dealer to sit in one before choosing. I can say if you are comfortable with the initial sit, then you are probably also good for road trips.

I like them on the track but the drive to and from can get uncomfortable after a while, roughly anything longer than 2-3 hours for me. I am 6'1" and 190lbs, they kind of make my legs go asleep on the highway, I don't particularly find them comfortable for these longer drives.

I am 5'10 175 and when I first got the car I was trying to setup the seat quickly after leaving the dealer. After like 45min drive I would get a horrible pain on my inner knee on my right leg.
What fixed it for me was raising the front of the seat all the way up so it is supporting my thigh and removed all the pressure from my knee. since then it has been comfortable anytime i drive it.
