*UPDATED with Pics* New camaro owner with my thoughts
So, I saw a dealer close to me had one online. I went to look at it and they posted pictures but of the wrong car, the car was enroute. They called me the day if arrived, I ended purchasing it. I qualified for all their private offers and got it around $4.5k off msrp. The dealer what Champman Chevrolet, they are right by the Philadelphia Airport. Talk to Mark Shaw, they have two other 2SS in stock, both auto and one white, the other mosaic black.
2SS Mosaic Black Black five spoke rims NPP exhaust MRC locking lug nuts premium floor mats 8" display with nav First Week Thoughts: After having the car for the week i absolutely LOVE the car. I have dreampt about this car for a year and it is even more than I expected. PA has been cold the last week and the heated steering wheel and seats are amazing. The car is sooo easy to operate. The clutch is great, the car doesn't jerk at 5 mph, it powers through low speeds and traffic. I feel at home in the cockpit, I took a 3 hr trip one way this past weekend and it was very comfortable the whole time. The different modes of the car to very distinct in what they do, I can't believe how heave the steering wheel feels in track mode. That is really cool. The power and technology are overwhelming. I need more time to learn all the features. However for my first week i am stunned with it. Suggestions: -I highly suggest you set you seat positions right away and make sure you set the automatic exit function for the power seats, it makes the car so much easier to get in and out of. -For your ladies, have them move the seat up vertically and they won't complain about getting in and out of the car. -take it easy if you don't have you winter wheels yet and remember the car only goes as fast as you make it. -adjust your HUD before you start driving, just as you would with your mirrors and do it before you set the memory functions -store everything in your trunk, including the wife's purse. -get glass or clear vinyl to cover the camaro lights on the door sills, i don't want to scratch them up Problems: -I do not like the skip shift at all -My brushed metal plastic insert on the center console did not adhere in the cold and pops up, i am going to have the dealer fix it when my black bowties come in. -since it is cold out the tranny is very reluctant until it is warmed up. The gear are very hard to shift through. -I am not a fan of the sirius xm radio, i can't wait for android auto comes ****UPDATE***** I took some pictures today after it was washed. I tried to capture the affects of the Mosaic Black but to be honest you have to see it in person. There was overcast today with the big snow storm coming in and the car is just glossy. The last picture you can see some of the sparkle where the flash hit. If there is a sunny day next week i will take some more pics. Also these are with my cell so don't complain about he quality. I will also post these in the other subforum. Last edited by cwl011; 01-22-2016 at 03:21 PM. |

Mind if I ask what these "private offers" were that got you 4.5k off MSRP? And congrats!

Dealer gave you 2k+ on TOP of all that? because people are having a hard enough time getting anyone to move past what rebates they have on hand. (granted 750 is from trade in, so i think you should remove that 750 and we have a more clear price. Even thought it's still high!)

Nice and sounds like you received a good deal also. What did you trade in?

Congrats on your ride, I hope to meet up in a spring GTG with a few more owners. XM radio does suck so I use Pandora.

Ok, so around 3500 under MSRP not counting trade in.
Seems like a good value. Do you think this matters if you get less options on the car? Say, 2ss NPP silver coated rims |

It may, there are two others on their lot that are a little more expensive than mine and those have a couple hundred more in the discount.
