Question about light
Ho guys
This light is on when I drive it... I would like to know : 1 What is this light ? 2 Can it be possible to turn off it ? 3 Does it turn off after closing the car ? Thanx

Location, kinda difficult to figure out from the pic. I don't have any interior lights on when I drive my car. With that said, you have several manually operated "map" lights that will stay on, if you don't "manually" turn them off.

That's the light that shines down on the cup holder area. Only way to turn it off is to disconnect the connector behind the console or turn down your interior lighting brightness with the knob on the left of the steering wheel

Yves, that is an interior light that stays on when the car is running/driving when the headlights are on. I rather like it being on when it’s dark because it’s easier to see inside the car and it’s not bright enough to bother me anyway. I don’t know if you can manually turn it off. It’s like the light behind the DIC that stays on all the time.

That light should be off when the sun is out. Unless you drive around with your lights turned on all the time. Do you have the headlights turned on all the time? I don't think there is a way to turn it off, easily that is. You'd have to pull that whole thing down and disconnect the connector.
I think they call that a navigation light or something like that since it shines down onto the center console area. |

Ah ok guys... thé trouble is that my car is a canadian version and I cannot turn off thé light when i’m driving ...
I would like to also shut thé light when I open thé car... and it seems it’ a not also possible ... |
