Sport is noticeably louder than Tour, no question. I wouldn't want it any louder, however, I would probably end up pulling the fuse so I hear it all the time.

THIS! By the way, I get FAR better sound out of the stock NPP with the fuse pulled than with Engine Sound Management set to Track. That’s because the valves STAY open 100% of the time, instead of opening all the way during aggressive acceleration, but closing down during idle/normal acceleration.

Of course, I can’t use the mode switch to make it quiet, but I never want to, so I’m never going back! Mode switch still works for everything else.

It's ridiculously quiet in the car, no matter what mode it's in... Pull the foam out of the sound tube to fix that, lol.

I'll have to be nice to my neighbours and put the fuse back in for Stealth mode come winter time, lol

Fold the rear seats down, that will help you hear your exhaust with the ac on and windows up. But you will also hear alot more road noise. lol

it does make a noticeable difference but only at aggressive throttle use. the valve still closes during light throttle and cruising. thats why so many people suggest to pull the fuse to keep the valves open.

Which fuse is it... I think I saw it on a thread awhile back, but I didn’t make note of it.
Also if I pull the fuse, what assures it is open?

I pulled the F51 fuse and it stayed loud all the time....I think the M6 might be better with fuse pulled, because the A8 shifts in strange deceleration or acceleration times. I think I like it with the fuse in.....it sounds better to me for the ferocious sound under heavy peddle.
In retrospect....I shoulda, coulda, woulda gotten an M6 but I really wanted my wife to be able to drive it.... happy life, and all that...
