Fueling Advice Mag2650

I purchased a Mag2650 with the stock size pulley & a 103mm inlet/throttle setup the other day. My current setups as follows

DSX low side
RPM +32%cam
Lingenfelter Direct Injection High Flow Fuel Pump Check Valve
-6an from factory tank to Y
-6an from DSX pump to Y
-8an from Y to high side pump
Ported Heads
Valves, springs, retainers
Kooks 2" headers
Kooks Full Exhaust
No Cats
9.17 Lower Pulley
Standard Rotofab

While it's down, I figured add a RotoFab Big Gulp. My question is, should I add some injectors or any other fuel items while the chargers off? I'm not looking to set any records with this thing, just a fun street car (zl1 1le m6). I live in Florida, and IATs where a problem with the stock 1.7 charger. 93 octanes the goal, but I do have a station with e85 down the road from me.

Guess will depend on your hp or track goals. Mine went into the shop today for similar mods except 38% fuel lobe cam. I will be doing 93 and 100 tunes. I have to believe that 800-875rwhp is more than enough and dependable for me.

800 - 900 on 93 no meth id be extremely happy.

Tarpon Springs

Mines already in the 800 range (RPMs 865 kit plus lower pulley). I'm just trying to keep it a bit safer with the new charger.

Ok, I'm in Wesley Chapel. Your reason is exactly why I went 2650. With our hot humid weather I wasn't comfortable pushing the 1.7 very hard. Most who have done same build are 800-840 on 93 and 860-900 on 100.

I've heard that adding the DSX is not an adequate solution for a track car (circuit) due to fuel starvation. When the fuel level is under 1/2 tank and the car pulls high Gs on track, the DSX line may be unable to draw fuel as the fuel moves away from the pickup. At this point you only get fuel from the OEM pump.

Do you plan to use this setup in your ZLE on track?

I've read that as well, but honestly, not a concern at this moment. I located the fitting as low as it could go and into the corner. You could always just add a second fitting and T the 2 together if you had this problem.........

Yes I like that idea. Another option may be to tap the tank with a fitting that has a male -6 AN end on the inside to connect another fuel line inside that side of the tank and connect a Holley Hydramat that covers most of the tank bottom--fewer lines and better coverage. I think both sides of the tank have an access port on top to reach inside for work like this. But I'm not sure about tank access.

800-850 on 93 is pretty doable on the factory high side and injectors. We've done that a bunch. 900 on meth or 100 octane.

Having had a 2650 and working for Magnuson in the past you made a good choice. I think you'll find that 800 to 850 is plenty. Once you've driven it with that much HP you may agree. I wouldn't run that much power on the street without a drag radial, lots want to run r888 but its not going to rein in that power.

That's the truth. Just had a customer pick up his 900rwhp car and he had the stock street tires on there. I told him those are no longer safe as they wouldn't hook on anything under highway speeds with warm temps. I run a Toyo RR on the shop car and still spin them on a punch from 60. Yet they were still sticky enough to push through the front brakes (they were still locked) on a burn out the other day.
