Cam fuel lobe lift question

Anyone know what the stock cam fuel lobe lift is? Was comparing BTR, TSP, and Cam Motion cams and the 1st two use a %(38 &. 32), but Cam Motion use an actual lift number.

I’m running cam motion stage 3. As great of a cam as it is I wish I went with stage 2 just to keep better normal driving. The stage 3 tend to buck a bit more coming to lights than I prefer.

I looked into adding the Circle D converter, but it's 2k plus labor, so Im still thinking stage 2 cam. I am dropping off the car tomorrow and will discuss it again.

The factory goes by millimeters...

Stock LT1 fuel pump lobe size 5.70 MM
Stock LT4 fuel pump lobe size 6.00 MM
32% Fuel Lobe 6.5 MM
38% Fuel Lobe 7.5 MM
42% Fuel Lobe 8.2 MM (LPE Big Bore Pump only)

The LPE pump is only good for a bout 10% more fuel than a LT4 with that 6.00MM lobe and for some reason that's how its advertised. When you use there GT35 or GT32 cam with the 8.2MM or You can have BTR or Comp Cams cut a 42% then the pump is 30 to 40% better.. this is one of the areas that people screw up and do not meet there fuel needs when they buy the LPE pump.

You need a trans tune if it's doing that, the converter need to be locked at lower speeds.

Yes, thanks for the info. Cam Motion makes it difficult comparing when they list it on their site as "LT camshaft have a .306" lift fuel pump lobe"

O.306" = 7.77mm
I agree, it would be much easier if they would list the % also.
Which cam are you getting?
I will order this one soon:
Gen 5 LT/PD 220/236 Positive Displacement Supercharger Camshaft (220/236-118+4)
I want something mild, I might even have them grind it on a 120 LSA for a even smoother idle.
