315x30 20
Hey guys. Hope you and your families are staying safe. Im new to the ZL1 world. Had 3 HCs and most recent, a 800 wheel track hawk. Have a few questions. I’d appreciate some feedback.
1. Anyone running a 315x30 or and 305x35 with no rub on stock springs? Any issues? Would like to fill in rear wheel well a tad at stock height. 2. I don’t see a huge difference in track mode and shifting. I’m guessing I’m just used to the A8 tuned whiplash of the HC and TH? 3. Car is very quiet on the freeway once it gets to that higher gear. Even in track mode when you’re rolling along at 70 miles an hour I can’t even hear the car unless you’re on the throttle in the RPM. I DONT want it to sound crazy, but again coming from a hellcat they always seem to have a nice tone even under light throttle in high gear. Anyone have any feedback on either of the Borla or stainless works? Just curious how it sounds in high gear cruising down the freeway. Thx guys. |

Many are running 315s without issue. Some have moved the wire harness on the driver side just to play it safe.
I’m running 325/30/20 on 20x11.5” wheel with custom offset. I moved the wire harness and massaged the inner fender liner on the driver side but I needed to so I could avoid rubbing. Very easy to do and takes about 45min. Tires fills the area great and the added side wall and width are a big help in traction. |
