2SS 1LE is ZL1 minus supercharger. No need for that much HP that you can't ever use on public roads. As it is, I can't legally no-lift-shift into 3rd, already going around 75mph. This much traction is intoxicating.

Can we please let this old thread go back to the grave where it sat till someone necro'd it? Why you bought the car doesn't matter, thank you for buying it and showing Chevy it can sell, so (hopefully) they make more in the future.

I just wanted to mention since I paid attention the other day, I can see quite a bit of my hood while driving, including the back of the drivers hood vent and just the tip of the passenger side vent.
The matt black wrap covers all the sheet metal visible from the drivers seat, I can't see any painted surface out the windshield.

But this is no different from many other cars I've owned and I can't say glare was much of an issue with any of those cars either.

For track use, the wrap can't hurt if it minimizes some glare for a some people at dusk/dawn where sunlight would have an angle to cause problems.

One time I actually thought about removing the hood wrap and putting the Mosaic Black rally strips on. Like ghost strips on the plain black car.

If I wasn't planning on doing track time at all, I'd be looking at the LT1 at this point.

i bought a 1LE because i drive so much on the street. bassackwards, i suppose. its not a dd and doesn't get driven in the winter. driving and definitely spirited driving is always better with more everything. power, handling, braking ability, etc. it almost dethrones the c6z as the last cowboy, but it would need at least 100 more hp for that.

Because I DRIVE my car. Fast. I prefer a car that will keep me on the road as opposed to , say, upside down in a ditch.

Unless you post about lowering springs on your 1LE...then it's EVERYBODY'S business.
