handling question
Got a pair of rear 305/25/20 Michelin pilot super sport tires-new dirt cheap
want to try them paired up with front 285/30ZR20 Goodyear F1 Supercar 3 that I picked up from a fourm member Stock oem zl1 rims all around. My ? is what will the lower profile rears do to the handling of the car for autox? 1.2" difference in diameter

id be more concerned with mixing tire brands than the size but a 25 sidewall is tiny lol

Firstly, what Krops said. You will have less grip at the rear as G3s are more aggressive compound. But proly more importantly, you may actually reverse a proper rake angle F vs R. What this will create is a large amount of understeer. And at faster pace, it will affect aero balance and will create F end lift. Not desirable under any scenario imo. You should be able to get away with it at autox, but even there the handling will very likely suck big time.

If I went to a 285/25/20 front to match rear Michelin, it would bring the front back down but small sidewall all around then. tires were $50 each, it was a deal I could not refuse. Thanks for the input guys.
