That tire is NOT legal is Street (less than 7/32" published tread depth) and is on the banned list for CAM.

Tire Combo

Hey guys, new to the page. I run an 18 ZL1 1LE in CAM C and the longer tracks, when I can IE: H.P.R. in Col. This past season 2020, I ran the PS4S and they worked really well, but this year Im going with dedicated wheel n tire combo: 315/30/18 RT660s on Apex SM-10 18x11 (4). Anyone run them yet.

WOW, Looks like I need to update my Profile, didnt realize Ive been away for so long....ouch !!! The 1LE is long gone an replaced with the 2018 ZL1-1LE Black, Oh and Im no longer in Colorado. I moved back to my old stomping grounds Ohio too. Oh!! FYI: The "Elevation" changes are very real. I had to relearn "Mechanic Music" all over again, it was well worth it. Started in SCCA in 1986 with an IROC-Z and never looked back.

Im going with the new Falkin RT660. The article in "Grassroots" Motorsports has it as the contender for the Super 200s. I will be running them this year in 315/30/18s Square.

Hey all, In the 2021 August issue of Grassroots Motorsports they have an article on the latest 200TW or what they call Super 200s. Its a pretty good list of choices too. I run an 18 ZL1-1LE and will be on the RT660s, (315/30/18) Square, in CAM C, we shall see this year.

Too bad you're not in CO, I'm in Lafayette and plan on participating in SCCA, BMW CCA and PPIR Track Attack this year.

I went with 19x11s and 305/30 RE71Rs last year on my SLE, long story short it was fun but not that fast because it oversteers too much. I recently got a set of 315 RT660s that were about as worn as my REs, put a pair on the rear end and it was a large improvement. My co-driver last race is really good and got 4th overall, so the car is capable with this setup but still needs more front bar (I got 16th).

This year I'm going with a Hotchkis adjustable front bar and ZLE rear bar, which is also adjustable. For a ZLE running square I think you'd ideally want a stiffer front bar. I also got camber plates and rear toe links but maybe not needed to get proper alignment with a ZLE. It's too bad there aren't wider RT660s, the stock wheel and tire sizes would probably be best for a ZLE.
