Yea I remember they proposed this to be tested in SS because a lot of cars in that class have MRC/E-shocks, hopefully they get good feedback and either push it to the other classes or just axe it sooner rather than later.

Is it 100% that the 1SS 1LE is moving to BS in 2019? I bought new class letters to go on the car next season.

The SCCA still has to "ok" the move but right now the SEB is suggesting it get moved to BS. About 98% sure it will get moved.

Getting ready to sign up for my 1st Autocross run of 2019 and haven't seen an updated SCCA class list. Then again, winning a T-Shirt isn't all that important....have a whole drawer of them!

It's the 1st event if the season (we run Jan-Dec with July and August) off due to heat.
We have an online registration, I'll sign up as BS (have both sets of letters ready) and talk to the club members before we start to make sure I'm in the right group. We had a new raceR in December, was his first time, but one of the good dRivers took out his car for a run/show them what to do (after a few way off courses) and did real we'll for it's class. |

My last event of the season was last month. First event of the season is this month. No break for summer months. But I'm gonna stay in CAM-C since I'm still going to try to get the diff programmed. And that no one cares what size wheels or tires I run.

That's strange that the Mustang GT w/ PP2 is still being shown in AS even though the December Fastrack showed it as being moved to BS. If the Shelby 350 is in BS why wouldn't the PP2 also be in BS

They probably just over looked it because all of the talk was about the 1LE/GT350 before the PP2 hit the streets. TBH I don't see many people (if any) running a PP2 after the issues of the 18+ GTs and the obvious shortcoming of it as compared to the 1LE/GT350.

If you are speaking about the rear end over-heating, that's really a none-issue with autocross. Really, it's an issue with extended and/or high temperature track sessions. Even at that, it's not something that is an end-all; an annoying issue none-the-less. I've heard of several people wanting to autocross PP2's over the past summer... |

Nope. Referring to the Engine and Trans issues. I personally know a guy that purchased a PP2 to mainly use for AutoX and some track use, it lasted all of 2 weeks before the engine grenaded, and many others have had similar failures as well as less serious problems, and apparently the manual trans they are putting in the 18-19s has very weak shift forks and people are losing 2nd, 3rd, or 4th after trying to shift under hard acceleration. Hoefully Ford gets their shit together with the 18-19s cuz I think the PP2 has decent potential though it is almost certainly not going to be quite up to par with the 1LE and GT350.
