I chose an axleback, I don’t think the possible gains from a catback are worth the 1500 bucks or whatever that you’d spend on it. I have the Borla S-Type, no other exhaust mods. It sounds nice and aggressive when you get on it and even breaks up a little bit on overrun.

Went axle back at first. Was good. The valves on the rear, right around the crushed pipe section are low hanging fruit. Axlebacks dont eliminate them on most kits outside MRTs stuff.

Also keep in mind whatever axleback you choose, any more mods added to the car is gonna change the sound. Some people add axlebacks at stock form, then add intakes, tunes, etc.. then blame the exhaust for sounds they didnt want. No one ever facotrs in axlebacks are designed on stock cars.
