i was wondering, is it possible to have a supercharger and turbocharger hooked up at the same time? and if so what would the results be? i've asked a few people i know and no one seems to know much about it.

No, compound boost will not work and even if it did, you wouldn't make much power. Heaven forbid if you tried to have two turbos feed the supercharger.

Just kidding. Yes, it works great and is the best of both worlds. Lots of low-end torque from the SC and the mid-top end power from the turbo(s).

yep. your gonna need a motor. 700rwhp will be enough for me. You would be doing it just to do it and spending a bit also.

I am not a fan of these setups, but they can be very powerful, to me, it's just more potiential failure points.... but with that said, these type of setups are unique. Hellion has a nice kit for the GT500's...

Its called twin-charging. Generally the idea is to use the supercharger for the low end power it provides and the turbo(s) for top end. But such systems aren't exactly the simplest setup for the power levels they provide.

when i had a terminator i wanted to get hellions tt kit designed to go with the blower just for the hell of it.

Many of our Mustang customers have tried our 96-04 Mustang twin turbo kit both in a compound setup and with a regular intake. For those who have tried both setups the general consensus (from what I gather from follow up calls and response from our customers) is they prefer the compound setup.

On our website we have a very informative write up and explanation of the benefits of the compound setup. In a nutshell it's all about the average power created.

Also, we have a customer running our GT500 twin turbo kit through the factory supercharger and factory six speed running 9.49 @ 151mph. This is a youtube video of that run....

As far as we can tell he has the fastest six speed GT500 in the country (world?)
